day - 1: arrival and transfer to jaldapara national park

our representative will be there to receive the guest at new jalpaiguri railway station (njp) / bagdogra airport (ixb) / tenzing norgay bus stand (junction). he will assist with the transfer to jaldapara national park — nearly 154 kilometers, around 5 hours' drive.

the vegetation of jaldapara national park mainly consists of tall elephant grass, where animals can often be seen grazing and passing frequently. jaldapara is known for its large population of indian one-horned rhinoceros. other animals in the park include royal bengal tiger, elephants, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild pigs, turtles, and bison.

jaldapara is a paradise for bird watchers — one can find a variety of birds.

day - 2: elephant ride and jungle safari & transfer to lataguri (gorumara national park)

early morning drive to hollong for a thrilling elephant safari, which is organized in the early morning. it offers exquisite views of the vast grasslands of jaldapara. one can sight indian rhinos, bison, deer, and asiatic elephants.

return to the resort for breakfast. afterward, drive for about 2 to 2.5 hours to gorumara national park at lataguri.

gorumara national park is believed to house 50 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles, and 30 species of amphibians. the park features vast grasslands and deciduous forests. lataguri maintains a pleasant climate year-round, making it a suitable destination at any time. the eastern himalayan region has six national parks and wildlife sanctuaries and is popular among tourists for its wildlife and tea tourism.

evening free to stroll around the local market.

day - 3: local sightseeing and jungle safari

(guests must book safari tickets with the help of resort staff.)

after early morning breakfast, proceed for an excursion to jhalong / bindu / chapramari, located at the foothills of the himalayas. jhalong is the last village on the indo-bhutan border. the excursion includes scenic drives and sightseeing. on the return journey, visit chapramari sanctuary, which is known for its rich flora and fauna. wildlife includes royal bengal tiger, deer, barking deer, etc.

return to the resort in lataguri.

in the early evening (4 pm to 6 pm), a jungle safari in gorumara can be arranged (subject to ticket availability). guests must be present to book the tickets as per government norms, and they will be assisted by a guide.

the excursion includes visits to jatraprasad / medla / chukchuki bird-watching points.

in the evening, a campfire and cultural dance can be arranged (optional).

day - 4: transfer to siliguri

early morning breakfast. after breakfast, transfer to siliguri / new jalpaiguri railway station (njp) / bagdogra airport (ixb) / tenzing norgay bus stand (junction) via coronation bridge, sevoke kali mandir, and sevoke — nearly 115 kilometers, a 3 to 4 hours' drive.
